After being off the radar for a few years, conscious singer Chrisinti has returned with the song, 36 Bullets.
And no, it is not a gun tune.
“I woke up one morning with $36 in my pocket with a million bills to pay,” said the artiste.
Although despairing about his financial situation, Christinti says he never lost faith. His precarious position was the inspiration for 36 Bullets.
The song was produced by Fitzroy Francis for Mightyful 13, and is doing well on reggae charts in New York City.
Presently, Chrisinti is in the recording studio working on tracks for his second album which is scheduled to be released by year’s end. He said he is collaborating with some of the top producers and musicians on the new set.
Born Paul Christopher Hudson in the Drewsland community of the Corporate Area, Chrisinti says he developed an appreciation for music at an early age. He recalls never missing an opportunity to perform at school concerts and community events.
His break came when he met producer Richard ‘Bello’ Bell from Startrail Records who produced his first song, Aware of Drugs. In 2003, Kings of Kings Records released his debut album Comfort My People which featured the tracks, New Tomorrow, Place In The Sun and No More Pain.
