Dear Parents, Grandparents, & Kids:

JAKERS: THE ADVENTURES OF PIGGLY WINKS, the Emmy-Award Winning PBS Television show, has been on the air for over a year now, and it’s a big hit! TV Guide recently declared Jakers one of the best children’s shows on TV.

The program stars Mel Brooks as Wiley the Sheep, and L.A. Galaxy soccer sensation Cobi Jones in a live segment called ‘Live and Learn’. We are now producing a new season of shows and that’s where you come in!

Our new ‘Live and Learn’ segments are going to take a look at the way grandparents share their personal childhood stories and memories with their grandchildren. We are now searching for grandparents and their grandchildren to feature on the program. We’re not looking for actors. We’re looking for interesting people of all ethnicities who love to have fun. And we’re especially interested in meeting grandparents who were born in other countries.

So grandparents, if your grandchild is between the ages of six and eleven and you live in the Los Angeles area, your family may be just what we’re looking for! But time is of the essence.
