One highlight of this stimulating course will be the construction of a natural, self-cleaning swimming pool requiring no chlorine or other chemicals to clean it. Students will construct the pool on site, utilising knowledge and skills gained during the course. The course will run in February, with classes finishing at 3pm daily allowing students time to have fun and visit natural attractions in the area: bird sanctuary, waterfalls, the beach, caves etc.

Natural Swimming Pool
There are no prerequisites for this course. It is ideal for people who want to develop their theoretical understanding of the diverse field of Permaculture and gain hands-on experience. The course is lead by specialist instructors who offer guidance for after the course. It promises to be a great networking opportunity offering students the chance to meet like-minded people from different countries.

This advanced Permaculture course explores the interconnection between watersheds, soil, climate and seasonality, agro-forestry, agriculture and Permaculture design as it pertains to earthworks. Students will apply this knowledge to develop an earthworks plan for the Blue Paradise Farms Permaculture site, of which they will layout key portions and begin construction of on-site structures such as swales and a pool working with hand tools up to large earth moving machines.
