Poem: A Lonely Road 2021

Try to take me to the darkest valley; but mommy & daddy found me,

In their silence they prayed for me:

A Lonely Road tried to let me, hate you—in my displeased;

But love say no, caused’ mommy and daddy prayed for me:

A Lonely Road, try and try, to let me sink below,

The deepest Ocean that does not know me but I escape;

Caused mommy and daddy, was there, waiting patiently,

I try and try to run, to escape, the brokenness of me;

As I plead, “God Have Mercy!”

But Mommy and daddy was not there—this time,

For a soul like me; they died to showed me, the ‘beauty’ & love,

That was already in me: now the road is much lonely,

Since they both passed on, to give me hope,

That prayer is the key to set me free & that they truly loved me.
