Poem: A New Moon Season 2021

“See that moon, oh so lovely!” centered in the big wide sky:

“Doesn’t it give hope, even in darkest night?”

To new lovers and mature souls who wished,

 To paint poetic dreams, display in the grand sky:

“See the moon, oh, so bright!” “What a magnificent delight!”

 To some, who wished to know, the secret, solitude,

The wee hours, of the night: A new night, brings a new day,

new season—to arrive; and preparation, for the bright sun;

They call the greater light!
