Poem: A Race with No Color
Photo Credit: Pawel Czerwinski

“Would that be boring or interestingly?”

That when you look at me,

You will only see a bright,

Beautiful, gracious, gorgeous,

And enlightening me:

Although my shades may be soft,

Smooth, dark or chocolate,

Latte even pink cherry;

All you can see is,

An illuminous and accomplished me!!!

I am a race with no color,

Charming, brilliant, alluring;

As can be! Not black, white,

Brown, cocoa or pink — maybe:

I am a race with no color,

Here to stay bringing great vibes,

Power, and a magnificent unity!
