I tried to dance today

My body started to sway

I tried to move with grace

But I thought my inner voice

Whisper, “That’s not the way!”

I tried to dance 

And let my heart be open

To gracious love 

Sweet rhythm

That’s here to stay

I found my groove, 

After I begin to move

‘Be happy, dance and sing,

I tried to dance today
