Poem: Finding My Way Back

Dearest Heart, I weep once over my immaturity

Thought everyone cares, everyone was kind

Everyone seek peace—no bias, no jealousy

Unforgiveness betrayed me

I use to weep over the loss of my innocence,

That took me to a place, dark, dreary

I knew, was not, right for me

Once haunted by despair,

Leaves memories of mixed hurt and Joy

And what used to be: Yet,

The gracious way of love, did not forsake me!

“Have you ever thought, dearest heart?”

The journey was meant to be,

To wake and shake us up

To the things, we could not see,

Bring us closer, to our highest consciousness,

Divinity—our spirituality?

The source God, saw what was ahead of you,

Ahead of me! Still, I am told,

It’s never too late to change,

Nor too old to seek that,

Which await us—patiently:

If we want it so bad, the deepest love of God,

We are encouraged to seek,

His love passionately.
