Poem: Glory to God

I sit alone around the dining table,

With the scrip written, so exquisite:

Keep the mind thinking — occupied,

Of the ladder one wish to climb:

As I reflect, being encouraged,

With the hope, that “With God’s Presence,”

One must give thanks, rise, breathe,

Smile, see those who has made it — wise!

Beyond the greatest ocean, those who have travel,

Beyond, the greatest miles,

And those who have been left behind:

Pray, we are encouraged daily, to the “I AM,”

Our great Source, some call Jesus, Alpha,

Omega, Oshun, God, Lord, “Some call,

The merciful Allah — Divine!”

For this may be just for a moment,

This may be just for a time:

Glory to God when there is success!

Glory to God when there is a test!

Glory to God when it seems some appear,

Unworthy — useless! Glory to God,

Even when we may have failed, to Pass,

The source test, “Glory to God,

Glory, Glory, Glory, Glory to God,

Each and every time!!!
