Poem: I Am in A Place

Photo credit: Hazin

I am in a place—that is strange to me, where people meet,

And pretend to be, Oh, so nice, wave, happily;

And genius built many mansions, cool sculpture,

Houses—creatively:

I am in a place, where lies no ocean, and the scent,

Of fresh morning sea breeze;

A place that filled with so much tombs, churches

And great ministry; that sing’s songs of hope,

‘Yes, Jesus Loves Me!……for the Bible tells me so!’

I am in a place—a beautiful place, that help me to rise,

Magnificently and inspired, uplift, & taught me,

How to gracefully, speak, walk, and think, intelligently:

So, I give thanks, for the good vibes, and the positive, energy;

That true love, has not forgotten—nor forsaken me:

I am in a place, a real good place, a place call,

The land for the free, and the home of the brave,

That let me be, truly me!
