Poem: I Try Pt II (to the one who did not know how to love me)

I try to look in your eyes
But you turn away staring, at the moon,
As if you didn’t care and say:
‘How lovely, my, my, my!”
I try to touch your heart,
As I hear the beat within,
Your frame, that play, songs,
Music, so different, unfamiliar,
That seems to remind me of sorrows,
Broken hearts, as if there is no joy,
Or tomorrow, that appear to want,
To keep us apart:
I try to breathe in — the wind,
From your organic breath,
Yet you seem, uninterested by my hand,
Touching your face, as if you forget,
That I was standing, close by:
I try to remind you, that I care,
And everything, is possible,
When you, are right here:
As I speak, enlightening your mind,
The importance, of our friendship,
No words, utter from your lips,
Not even a smile:  Still, I try,
Reminding you, that I am here,
Even in the silence, I hoped you’ll see me,
Feel me, treat me right, find a sacred space,
When love bloom in the heart,
And the reflection of your eyes,
That is safe for you,
The one you—find worthy
And see as a golden prize:
As you walk away, I heard,
In the silence,
“Precious one, have a safe, & lovely night!
