Poem: Me Know

Me know, me in a strange land, when just a few,

nod dem head and wave dem hands jus to say hi.

Me know me, in a strange land, when grave yard,

Tells truth and lies of how many has shed blood,

How many has died, to save lives:

Me know, me in a strange land, when life experience

Awakens the mind that we must think strategically

To break free from spiritual slavery, of financial,

Stagnated chains, that allows us, to feel hopelessly insane:

“Wake up,” I hear the cries utter, its time, “We must win,”

Or we will sink, to this thing called the great Sin,

That oppress, suppress us, each day,

Me Know, me in a strange land, when some

Cling to those who are well off and poverty shows

In every continent, countries, especially in a foreign land

Me know, me in a strange land, when outcry is heard

To save the next generation!
