Poem: Poetic Love Story

Photo credit:

You took my hand and ushered me, to flowers of bed:

Where there lies scent of hibiscus, jasmine, rose and lavender,

You place under my head: As I lay on a manicure greenery,

I imagine surrounded by black stallions, butterfly, the sun,

Blue sky—the wind, and you kissing my forehead:

You took my hand and ushered me to flowers of bed;

As I wish it was true my beloved, but it was all in my head,

Still, I know we will meet again; then our light will shine brighter

And there will be no sorrows and tears to shed.
