Poem: Save Me

Poem: Save Me

When I am alone, wrapped in the warmth

Of my comforter

I close my eyes and pretend, you are with me,

—speaking greatness over my life, like the gush

Of the cries of the great wind

And when your whisper I cannot hear no more,

Seems to be drown by the sorrows of my heart,

From the noise of the musical songs—many sing,

I dim the lights and pray, “Lord help me!

Save me, from the darkness, the terror that rises,

That tries to creeps within!”
