Poem: Thanksgiving

Photo credit: Jordan Arnold

“There you are, you roasted treat!”

upon the table—

prepare for all teeth,

pretty for all eyes to see—so it seems:

you dainty meat!

One, two three, I’ll pass: this time,

’cause you are not here—with me;

blues reggae is my soul heartbeat,

“now: where’s those heartfelt delicious  treats?”
