Poem: The Promise Keeper

Some may have more than others, so it seems:

Some strive for what is right—to please,

Their maker and have sweet dreams:

Some climb high mountains, to see the beauty,

Of the splendid morning star, that beams:

"Oh so, beautifully!"

While some wish to soar way up high,

To see all the beauty of the marvelous sky,

the magnificent ocean—the great big sea:

And some, like me, Is thankful,

That God took his breath and breathe life in me

And say, “Child, I am so please!"
