Poem: The Snow @ the O’

I love to see the snow heighten,

—when I am standing, looking out within,

The warmth of a cozy home

And the beauty of the Iceland glacier,

Have children, young men and women,

joyfully—laughing; as they sled, ski, slide,

While they are playing:

I love to see the snow heighten,

As I pretend, wished, I am the skate, sled,

In the big ‘Olympics,’ smiling and skating.
