Some even dare to say I am crazy,

You hold my heart in captivity,

Show me the way to Joy— my Holy Jesus,

Yahweh—Selassie!

So ‘You, don’t impune, my integrity!

If I am so free to meet my Majesty

—Help me to be, surrounded by His grace,

Free me from chains that hold you; holds me,

So I can become close to you, closer to my Saviour,
