The home that was chosen for me,
I see nobody, just the mere grass
And semi-twin home, not so grand yet lovely:
They are there, in their own world:
Some are lost & lonely: Shades close,
For privacy—I know they are there,
Watching, looking—longing to be free:
As I go about, my daily duties,
Humming, singing songs of praise, thanking Christ,
That delivered me: even when, I see nobody,
I remember they are there, just like me,
Waiting for God to set them free.
