In actuality, and in spite of it’s name, Poetry in Motion presents the full spectrum of the performing arts in : Music, Dance, Comedy, Story Telling, Fashion and Poetry – with a difference. This very unique and highly anticipated event has consistently delivered top flight ‘edutainment’ – Clean Intelligent Fun – for the entire family and to the delight and fascination of Central Jamaica and beyond.Consequently, people from all across Jamaica journey to Mandeville on the last Sunday of February (Black History Month) to the ever popular Feast of the Performing Arts, known as Poetry in Motion.
Over the years people from the Caribbean and international community have been gravitating to the increasingly popular Poetry in Motion which will be staged at the legendary Manchester Golf Club, Brumalia Road in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, on Sunday February 26th starting at 6pm.
