Singing RN also known as Avis Williams brought us a few reggae tunes, singing is her passion. The Venette Cultural Workshop performed to a culmination of hot reggae beats, when we cultivate our youth we see the fruits of her labor— Vanessa Baird-Streeter, director of the program. This cultural workshop is filled with young people both male and female. All in attendance was blown away by their performance. Rappers DA Flock gave us some new sounds, rap pieces they put together. To close out the evening we listed to sounds from DJ Disco Kid.
There were several special guests: Mr. Renford Cogle who wrote the hit song “Can You Feel It” sung by the singing RN. Two members of the Vintage singing group The Melodians were also present.
