Former Prime Minister of Jamaica Edward Seaga and Sandy Daley, the author of the much talked about book “Whose Vagina Is It, Really?” lands on Television Jamaica (TVJ) today with popular television talk show host Susan Simes.
In the exclusive in-depth interview, which was shot on location at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel in Kingston, Sandy, dubbed “The Black Carrie Bradshaw,” opens up candidly in this one-on-one interview with Simes, discussing her book and her personal life. The first broadcast, which aired on April 28th, received such great feedback, that the producers opted to do a re-broadcast today.
“I received so many emails last week,” says Sandy. “I was so moved by the things that they said to me. I feel so blessed,” she said.
The interview, which had to be cleared by the Broadcasting Commission, is must-see TV, as the producers of The Susan Show, although enthusiastic about Sandy and her work, had to ensure that they stayed within the guidelines of the Commission. The interview, which focuses on issues such as abuse, infidelity, poverty, sex and lack of self-esteem in women, comes on the heels of a successful book tour throughout the U.S. and Canada. With talks of a movie deal, a follow-up book and a television Talk Show in the works, Daley continues to demonstrate that she is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
The interview with the author, actress, radio and television personality who is based in Canada, will air on TVJ today at 12:30 pm on “The Susan Simes show.”
