Event Description: V.O.I.C.E., a Non Profit organization, is hosting a Queen of the Dance, dancehall competition to raise money for the many children and pregnant teenage mothers suffering from HIV/AIDS. These children are abandoned or homeless and are in the need of shelter, education , and medication. Proceeds from this event will be donated to The Mustard Seed Communities, a Non Profit organization on the island that has created two homes in St. Catherine and Kingston, and possibly a new home in Montego Bay. These homes only house about 40 children for the whole island. HIV/AIDS is on an incline on the island and it is increasingly spreading. The Mustard Seed Community need more money to build additional housing facilities for the many children that have been turned away from schools, family, and orphanages because of this disease. Please join the global fight against HIV/AIDS and help organizations like Mustard Seed and V.O.I.C.E. to give housing, education, trade skills, and medication to the many children and young mothers left homeless and abandoned.
We are looking for Jamaican-owned businesses to come out to this event, and to promote their website for free. Please contact Allison Richards ASAP if your organization would like to come out, so that we can have a booth ready prior to the event.
