After all the speculation since Richard “Richie B” Burgess left Hot 102 FM, Jamaica, last Friday, we’ve been reliably informed that he will begin hosting the 6am – 10am slot vacated by Ragashanti on Link Up Radio, 93.5FM, NYC today, Friday, February 15, 2013.

“I’m very pleased to be joining the Link Up Media family at this time, albeit on a temporary basis” Burgess said.

“This comes at an opportune time for me, as I am two weeks away from taking up a permanent position on radio elsewhere. Squeeze and myself go way back and I have emceed several concerts that he has promoted in the past. So when he reached out to me, I had no difficulty accepting his offer. I intend to use this new platform to connect with all my Caribbean and American peeps, keeping them informed, educated and entertained.”

His very first scheduled guest on Linkup Radio will be Erik who recently starred in the popular VW Super Bowl commercial that went viral days before it debuted on Super Bowl Sunday.
