WHAT: Press Conferences in advance of the Reebok Grand Prix, a world-class track-and-field event set for Saturday, June 3, at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island.

THURSDAY: Justin Gatlin, 100-meter Olympic Gold Medalist, World Champion and co-World Record-holder, with a share of the title “World’s Fastest Man.”

Gatlin, a Brooklyn native, will be running the 100 meters at the Reebok Grand Prix on Saturday, June 3. It will be the first time Gatlin has ever run the 100 meters here, in his hometown.

FRIDAY: Veronica Campbell of Jamaica, 2004 Olympic triple-medalist sprinter, the most successful female track athlete in Athens; Sheri-Ann Brooks of Jamaica, the 2006 Commonwealth Games 100m gold medalist; Nick Willis of New Zealand, the 2006 Commonwealth Games gold medalist at 1500m; and Meseret Defar of Ethiopia, the 2004 Olympic gold medalist at 5000m.

The only outdoor East Coast meet that offers head-to-head competition among world-class athletes, the twilight Reebok Grand Prix , at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island, begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3.
