The 5th Annual Reebok Grand Prix, scheduled for Saturday, May 30th, promises to be the most exciting to date and tickets are moving fast.
Showcasing talent from around the world, the Reebok Grand Prix will feature world class athletes from more than 30 nations including Jamaica Olympic Champions Veronica Campbell-Brown, Asafa Powell and Shelly-Ann Fraser, as well as Kenyan distance specialist Micah Kogo and America’s pole vault standout Jenn Stuczynski and sprinter Allyson Felix.
Additions to the 2009 event will include increased and upgraded backstretch seating at track level to accommodate the growing demand and spectator interest by the NY Tri-state community. Also, the event will be broadcast LIVE on NBC Sports from 4:30 to 6pm.
Reggae boy band TOK and NY crooner Elvis D will perform at the pre-event reggae concert that will be broadcast live on Irie Jam Radio, 93.5 FM in the tri-state area.
