Reggae Symphony 2009 will feature Grammy nominated, Reggae Ambassador Freddie McGregor, the Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths and veteran vocalist Bob Andy on Sunday, March 29, 2009 7:00pm at Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Accompanied by Lloyd Parkes’ We the People Band and the Reggae Strings Orchestra, the featured reggae icons will perform a number of their chart topping hits such as I Was Born a Winner, Big Ship, Push Come to Shove, Truly, Live On, Electric Slide, Fire Burning, Let Them Say, Too Experienced, Young Gifted & Black and many more!
Produced by Big Ship Music Inc., Reggae Symphony 2009 is a follow-up on last year’s successful sold-out presentation which featured two of Jamaica’s greatest voices, John Holt and Freddie McGregor with the melodic sounds of an orchestra combined with pulsating reggae rhythms.
