Reggae Golden Jubilee Launched In New York

Former Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Hon. Edward Seaga, was in New York on Saturday, October 27th, for a special autograph signing session at the VP Retail Outlet in Queens, New York for the new disc ‘Reggae Golden Jubilee – Origins of Jamaican Music.’

For the four disc deluxe compilation, Mr. Seaga handpicked 100 of the most significant songs to have emerged from Jamaica over the last 50 years. The compilation include hit songs from artists including Bob Marley and The Wailers, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Marcia Griffiths, Lady Saw, Buju Banton, Warrior King, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and many more. Mr. Seaga also penned the liner notes and track-by-track notations in the box set’s 64-page booklet.
