Reggae star Natural Black continues his reign in the reggae world with the release of his new single and video, “Don’t Play With My Heart.” Produced by Jam 2 Productions and Shaggillia Records, “Don’t Play With My Heart” was released earlier this year, and its video is now being premiered to the worldwide massive. It was shot on location in New York City and was directed by Brian K. Roberts for Honest Illusions Multimedia.
“This song showcases the softer side of reggae,” reveals Natural Black. “I’ve done the party tune and the core reggae track, but with this one, I wanted to dig a little deeper and share something more personal with my fans. Everyone experiences love and heartaches and I wanted to touch on that with this single, and hopefully touch a lot of people out there, who are going through the same thing.”
The video was produced by Natural Black’s own label, Shaggillia Records, along with his management and booking agency, Triple T Production. “We went for a simple, sleek look with this video,” discloses Tasz Smith, CEO of Tripe T Prodcution. “Our goal was to showcase Natural Black’s voice and the storyline more, so fans can truly feel the emotion of the song and therefore be able to relate to it.”
Natural Black has been claiming 2013 as his, with the release of five new singles – “I’m On My Way,” “Natural Chronix,” “Who Cares For Me,” “Don’t Play With My Heart” and “Party Truck.” In addition to the “Don’t Play With My Heart” video, he also recently released the music video for “Party Truck,” which was also shot in New York City and released last month. Natural Black and Triple T Production extend their appreciation to everyone who supported in the production and release of the “Don’t Play With My Heart” video, including all crew members on the production team and everyone who lent their talents to the plot.
With new music and videos coming down the pike, Natural Black is also hitting the stage when he is not in the studio. He has been performing throughout the Caribbean, the United States and recently returned from the UK. Reggae lovers can catch this vibrant, uplifting artist in action on many upcoming international music festivals worldwide, this year.
