New Jersey based reggae artist Ras Emmanuel is back stateside after a recent tour that saw him performing on the popular five city Falls Tour in Australia in January. Ras Emmanuel – a two time winner of the New Jersey Reggae Awards ‘DJ of the Year’ – riveted thousands of new fans across Australia and Tasmania with his signature high energy performances with the Easy Star All Stars Band from New York.

“It was a huge honor to have represented Jamaica and reggae music in Australia,” Ras Emmanuel stated “It was my first time performing on that side of the world and I was blown away by the enthusiasm and the love that Australians have for our music and our culture.”

His most recent single ‘Root Out Corruption’ with reggae singer Luciano continues to garner strong radio support across the Diaspora. The singer who hails from Central Village in St. Catherine is looking forward to touching down in Jamaica soon to spend some time here with family, friends and music colleagues celebrating Jamaica’s 50th anniversary of independence.
