Adele Harley’s EP, an elegant collection of love songs and club anthems, was produced by Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor in effort to showcase the UK Lovers Rock scene to an international audience.

Harley said the musical concept on her EP was designed to capture and soothe her audience with emotional cogence, sparking an honest connection between herself and her listeners.

“I’d hope my music would have a ‘feel good’ factor, with memories of good, happy times – generally feelings of love in the good and tough times,” said Harley. “Even though all the songs are brand new, I’d like people to hear something that makes them feel  that Lovers  Rock  still has  its place in 2012, and that they can almost reminisce on the the old times by brand new songs that remind them of the old songs. “Harley collaborated with McGregor on his last two riddim albums, “Cool and Deadly Riddim” and “Club Dance Riddim,” which comingled British Lovers Rock stars, such as Harley, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Peter Spence, Peter Hunnigale and Lady Lex, to the global fan base of Jamaican reggae luminaries, such as Sanchez, Buju Banton, Nadine Sutherland and Ce’Cile.

Adele Harley is currently one of the most accomplished up-and coming artists in the UK Lovers Rock genre. Harley’s debut album, “Come Into My Life” was ranked among the “most impressive albums of 2011” by BBC Radio  celebrity David Rodigan, and Harley’s singles have been licensed by virtually every renowned producer in the contemporary Lovers Rock industry, including Kemar McGregor, Lloyd Campbell, Mafia & Fluxy, Barry O’Hare and Lee Francis. At press time, Harley is the leading nominee in the internet-based British Reggae Industry Awards poll for “Best British Female Vocalist.” She plans to release her second full length album during 2012.
