MONTEGO BAY, St James — The expected large local crowd at this weekend’s 40th Lime CARIFTA Games at the Montego Bay Sports Complex will be expecting the usual massive medal haul from the Jamaican team that will be performing at the meet on home soil for the first time since 1996.
Jamaica has dominated the three-day event for the past 26 years and over the last five stagings has won an average 71 medals, while Trinidad and Tobago’s 40 medals last year in the Cayman Islands was the most won by any other country over the period. Read more >>
