…unlike USA rules which stipulate all athletes must complete (at US trials) in order to take up their IAAF byes, for Jamaica’s defending world champions – Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Melaine Walker and Brigitte Foster-Hylton – they have already booked their places and do not have to compete at the trials.
