The Release television programme which showcases new releases in food, fashion, food and technology has been reaching out to new markets. What started off as a 5-minute television programme on HYPE TV, has developed over the years to a 30-minute programme expanding to new markets. With their expansion to Canada and the wider Caribbean on Ceen TV and New York and the Tristate area on CIN TV, The Release Team has been broadcasting Caribbean content to a new audience and has gained an international fan base.
The Release also airs in several Caribbean countries and has a prime-time spot on CVM TV in Jamaica. “We have teams in New York, Florida and now the UK that provide us with incredible content that showcases our vibrant Caribbean culture” said Executive Producer, Joseph Moore. He added that viewers are ‘captivated’ by the versatility of the show saying “We showcase food, fashion, music and technology. This is a fusion of entertainment and lifestyle at its best”.
In addition to its new reach, The Release is now a full production house providing mentorship, internship opportunities and on the job training. Moore said “We shoot campaigns, advertisements, PSAs and Vlogs. We also have our entertainment website that showcases new releases and our live stream sessions so fans worldwide can tune in to all that we have to offer”. The Release is presently in discussions to launch their radio programme in 2020.
