The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), an agency of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport is pleased to announce the results from the Grand Final of the ‘Bigger and Better’ 2018 Jamaica Festival Song Competition, held on Sunday, July 15 at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre:

ABOUT THE WINNER:

Nazzle Man (Oneil Scott)

Born in Kingston, Nazzle Man began singing seriously at the age of 11 – when he entered his first competition. Since then he has toured North America with several top artistes including D’Angel, The Dragonaires, and Bare Essentials. His successes include gracing the stage at Reggae Sumfest. When asked his philosophy, he proudly states: “Keep trying and you will always succeed.”

Nazzle Man is no stranger to the Jamaica Festival Song Competition. He is a five time entrant and won the title at the competition’s last staging in 2016 with his song No Weh like Jamaica. He had also been a finalist twice before, placing third in 2012 and second in 2015.
