Brooklyn, NY – On Sunday July 13th, Revival Reggae Sundays will host the soul reggae band Judah Tribe. Led by vocalist Josh David, Judah Tribe is already blazing trails with its trademark blend of soul, rhythm & blues and roots reggae.
The performance, which begins at 9:30pm, is part of the Revival Live ’08 Concert Series which takes place at LOX Lounge on the 2nd Sunday of each month. LOX Lounge is located at 15 Putnam Ave in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
In 2005, a group of musicians converged in Brooklyn, NY stemming from many parts of the world. Together these talented musicians would find their common mission and common goals. As a result of this unique collaboration, Judah Tribe was born. New Day Dawnin, their debut album, is due to be released in the fall of 2008. Judah Tribe recently launched their new website JudahTribe.com which allows visitors to listen to new music, view tour schedules, and sign up for the band newsletter.
The weekly Revival Reggae Sundays dance party has been hailed as “the revival” of the New York reggae scene.
Revival Reggae Sundays features an all-star line up of New York’s premiere djs including DJ Silence of Pointblank
Sound and DJ Jase of 107.9 Flava FM. Special guest djs include DJ Gringo of Sirius Radio and British djs Mr. Milton
& Sir David of the BBC Sound System. Revival Reggae Sundays has also hosted many live performers including top
reggae artists Ky-Enie, Barbadian songstress Toni Norville and reggae legend Milton Henry.
Events are currently underway and presented by New York City’s premier reggae event company SAi Entertainment.
