Undeniably one of the most penetrating and dynamic new Reggae artists on the scene, Reemah is planting the seeds to turn the conscious music dial up another notch and she will do so on March 3, 2015 with the re-release of her 2012 album, Check Your Words.
Reemah’ first introduction to the airwaves was with her Promotional CD, showcasing fiery tunes such as the blazing title track “No Questions”, the eye-opener “Up Your Sleeve”, and the soul-stirring “Live in Love”. To date, she has performed in California, Washington DC, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and South America, to name a few, leaving her audiences wanting more of her purifying energy.
Motivated to highlight social ills plaguing our communities, as well as providing messages to uplift and inspire, Reemah has been described as a powerful and dynamic artist with a commanding message. Born on the island of St. Croix, Reemah’s passion has always been music with a mission to create timeless works that speak to the hearts of people across the globe and Check Your Words will accomplish just that.
The 14 track album will be released through VPAL/VP Records and available digitally through iTunes and Amazon as well as in hard copy. “It feels good to be a part of this project. Reemah definitely brings the message of roots, livity and consciousness without a doubt” says Donovan Williams, VPAL/VP Records. Feel Line Records CEO, Kedroy ‘Calyst’ Mitchell adds, “Feel Line Records is very proud and honored to have Reemah be the first artist representing the label and right now embarking on a journey that we have never been on before with VP/VPAL Records getting distribution that will put Reemah and Feel Line Records on the map globally.”
To promote the album, Reemah is currently working with her team to do a media run in the Tri-State area during the month of March, which was a strategic move as it is Women’ History Month. Thereafter, Reemah will embark on a promotional tour in the United States, Caribbean and Europe.
