Read an interesting story on Facebook Personal announcements by  Seth Liss, who writers for my local paper

the Sun Sentinel.  He learned about his brother’s engagement when his wife saw it on a facebook status.  At first he thought it was a joke but it turned out to be real.  His thoughts were that some things are personal and should be done face to face. I agree with him but this is the world we now live in. Everything is now a status.  If you want to find out what your friends or even the people in your household are doing you have to go to facebook. How many of you have found out things about friends and relatives through their facebook?
