What: Press Briefing and Community Forum for the sixth annual Reggae Culture Salute
The Coalition to Preserve Reggae Music, (CPR) invites members of the media and reggae lovers to a press briefing and community forum to outline plans for the sixth annual Reggae Culture Salute scheduled for Saturday, October 30th at Brooklyn’s Nazareth Regional High School Performance Center.
The theme for this year’s Reggae Culture Salute is, “Salute to the Foundation,” and in a salute to the emergence of the music, industry stalwarts Bobby Channel One, host of Culture Jam; Howard “Sir Tommy’s” Mapp owner of Sir Tommy’s Hi Fi and foundation deejay Mikey Jarrett, will share perspectives on the groundings of reggae music and today’s manifestation of the art form.
