Jamaican Brings Film Festival With Sheryl Lee Ralph And Others To Atlanta; Honours Cast Of Different World And The Movie Harder They Come

Mark Eschoe, a Wolmer’s Boys’ Alum, is presenting for the fourth year in a row the Spaghetti Junction Film Festival ( SJUFF) that has set a trend of showcasing independent talent and bringing veterans and new talent together in one arena. The SJUFF will occur from April 17 until April 23 spanning 7 days in Georgia. During the 7 days, highlights include an independent film competition, an artist market; workshops, red carpet premieres, the presenting of the Impact Award to the cast of A Different World, Sheryl Lee Ralph presenting her one-woman show “Sometimes I Cry” and the honouring of Perry Henzell by screening a remastered version of Jimmy Cliff’s “Harder They Come” on the Saturday night April 22. The SJUFF showcases the best in independent urban films. During the festival the patron would be exposed to the works of independent films created by a person of color or where a person of color plays a primary role in the production.
