For the past two years the beautiful and talented Kim Kelly has been hard at work diligently honing her craft while receiving modest success for a string of hit singles such as “Plans Fi Yuh” (UIM Records Top Class Riddim), “Fall In Love” (Keno 4 Star) and her recent “Girls Night Out” (Misik Muzik Cute Bibble Riddim).
The songstress is headed to her beloved island of Jamaica for a month stay which will see her hard at work on her debut EP with various notables producers. Kim will also take the stage at various stage shows such as the March 28th, ST Catherine Jamboree which features a star studded lineup Grammy Award winner Beenie Man, Ky-Mani Marley, Jesse Royal and Ninja Man along many others to be disclosed, and an April slated show in ST Mary by the Galiday Bounce organizers, the show will see popular dancehall artist Dexta Daps, Iyara and more names to be announced.
Excited at her impending arrival, Kim explained “The reason my team and I plan on staying in Jamaica this long is because we know we can accomplish a lot more in one month than 2 weeks. The goal is always to grow and improve and nowhere is better for an upcoming Dancehall/reggae artist than Jamaica. With an upcoming performance on the St. Catherine Jamboree March 28th our stay will be around that time. We will also be working on my Ep, interviews and many other amazing opportunities. Jamaica is home for me so it’s always a blessing to enjoy the weather and get inspired.”
