The dance party will feature some of new york city’s premier djs playing the best in 80’s Classics, R&B, Latin, Neo-Soul, Reggae, AfroBeat, Funk, Soul & Calypso music. For the premiere event entry is FREE for everyone on the guest list with RSVP.
The dance party will be held at the all new Tamboril Restaurant, Bar & Lounge located near to Pratt University in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Brooklyn soul will “fill the void for soul music that has been missing in new york city for a long time.” Saids event producer Alicia Green. Inspired by the multicultural city it is named after, Brooklyn Soul will play a global blend of music from artists such as Fela Kuti, Beres Hammond, Ceilia Cruz, Jill Scott, Outkast, Kassav, Jay Z, Machel Montano, Nina Simone, P Squared, Floetry, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Soul to Soul, Queen, Men At Work, Madonna & Prince.
