Soul Rican, Jammins  and Tavon Entertainment presents a pre – thanksgiving Soul Legends Concert showcase featuring the legendary R&B Soul group The O’Jays. The O’jays will be coming to the Tri-state area to perform for at two landmark venues – Newark Symphony Hall on Friday, November 19th in Newark, New Jersey and Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 in Brooklyn, New York.  Performing along side the O’Jays is Lilo Thomas and Ted “Magic Man” Mills, the voice of the “Blue Magic.”

With millions of albums sold worldwide, and countless hit singles The O’Jays are one the top best selling R&B groups of all time.  There captivating voices helped them to breakthrough the Billboard Top 100 pop singles chart with hits like “love train”,” For the Love of Money”, “Stairway to Heaven, “Forever Mine” and “Use ta be My Girl.” The O’Jays is timeless and their music will continue to last for generations to come.  Special Guests Lilo Thomas will sing his hit “You’re a Good Girl” and the “Magic Man”, Ted Mills will also belt out hit songs like “Side Show”, “What Come Over Me” and “Spell”.

Partial proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Foundation of the University of the West Indies Scholarship Fund.
