Ok I have always said I am from the old school. Spare the rod spoil the child.  So my son is almost two and every now and again I give him some little slaps when he is rude but he is now saying no mummy no mummy and my heart can’t take it.

I love him so much and he is being so stubborn now and crying for everything. I try to be patient but there are times when he just does not listen.

Is there another way? My mum and grandmother says no. I thought I would be tough anddeal with the discipline issues easily but this is so hard.
