JAMAICA, which will send 43 athletes, 12 coaches and three officials to the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens, Greece from June 25 to July 4, has seen a substantial increase in airfares from New York to Athens and Kingston to New York.
However, executive director of Special Olympics Jamaica, Lorna Bell, said the New York to Athens fare of US$100,890 fare has been paid, but that they now face the Kingston to New York challenge of US$30,000. Read more >>
