I’ll stick on you like crazy glue.
“Who?” “Me or You?” I thought, I wish to say;
The greeting card I read, treasure, your photo in display,
on the wall, in my heart, an empty house
an empty space: your presence I’d seek
up and above—can’t find you in this ‘kinda race.
I laugh out loud to the face in disguise
broke my heart—left me, weeping, feeling unwise
Love—turn its back to the struggles of my yesterday.
Was it a test? I loose— you win!
“How do you feel, Jamaica, Trinidad, Africa, Dominica
Haiti, India, Barbados, Europe, the USA
How do you feel ‘Me” on this mystical day?”
