Jamaican Summer And Winter Sports Stars Meet

Two of Jamaica’s outstanding athletes, triple Olympic and World Champion Usain “Lightning” Bolt (left) and Oswald “Newton” Marshall, musher of the Jamaica Dogsled Team, met recently in New York City during a record breaking celebratory party held at Moka Night Club in Queens, New York. Newton who was in New York for the Adventures in Travel Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center will be the first Jamaican and Caribbean National to compete in the Iditarod, popularly known as “The Last Great Race,” set to take place in Alaska, March 2010.
