C.E.O. of Food for the Poor, Bradley Finzi-Smith, stated that the donation is quite timely because there are a number of students who still need assistance. “This gift has come at a very timely juncture because of the economic crisis currently being experienced throughout the world. The donation will help in the many treats that we organize during Christmas for children and the homeless. Also, despite helping hundreds of students this year, many still need uniforms and shoes…I am sure this donation will also help in that area,” he said.
With more than 25 years of providing assistance in areas such as education, nutrition, housing, health and social outreach, Food for the Poor has been ranked as the largest international charity in the United States and the 5th largest charity overall.
