Raptor energy drink has come onboard as a new sponsor for next week’s Magnum Sting. A press conference was held recently at the offices of Supreme Promotions to announce the partnership. The highly anticipated lyrical competition between Ryno and Kiprich is now officially titled, “The Raptor Rematch”.
Senior Marketing coordinator of Jamaica Beverages, Allawney McIntyre explained the partnership, “It was not a tough decision to partner with Magnum Sting 2014. Through our partnership we are given the opportunity to reach out to 50,000 people. It is the number one dancehall show in the country. It demands from its patron’s endurance and attentiveness for the over 12 hours of exciting entertainment the event provides. What better way to keep our guests refueled and reenergized than with Raptor Energy drink.”
Recording artiste, Kiprich was also present at the launch. “This year is a different year. One thing I have to tell the opponent. What me see him come out with last year, that can’t work again this year…When yuh nuh expect something and it happen off-guard, anything can happen,” Kiprich explained to the media.
Kiprich is a multi-wining clash champion over the years and lost his title last year to Blak Ryno, an unexpected challenger he claims. Ryno was unable to attend the conference, as he was overseas. On Boxing day, December 26th a new clash champion will be announced at Jamworld in Portmore. Raptor Energy Drink joins Magnum Tonic Wine, Bill Express, The Star, Irie FM, Fruit Jazz Punches, ZIP103FM, Jolly’s His ‘N’ Her’s and Sunnyside Villas among other sponsors of this years staging of the annual event.
