2018 World Reggae Dance Champions Team Ultimate receive their winning cheque from the Hon Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender Entertainment and Sport and the Hon Alando Terrelonge, Minister of State within the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport (centre).

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), an agency of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport is pleased to announce the results from the World Reggae Dance Championship Final, held on Friday, August 3 at the National Arena:

  • Winner: Team Ultimate (Kingston and St. Andrew)
  • 2nd place: Shengen Squad (Italy)
  • 3rd Place: Fantastic Steppaz (Kingston and St. Andrew)

Sectional Awards:

  • Most Disciplined Group: B. Team (Kingston and St. Andrew) and Full A Vibe (Poland)
  • Best Costume: Shengen Squad (Italy)
  • Best International Group: Shengen Squad (Italy)
  • Most Popular on Social Media: Full A Vibe (Poland)

Team Ultimate has been dancing together for years. The five team members grew up together in the same community.
